The bending process is carried out with an automatic tool changer to ensure excellent work quality and performance.
The ‘HD’ in the name of our press brake indicates the combination of electric servo-motors and two-way hydraulic pumps in the bending process. Start-stop technology allows the pump to rotate only during the bending cycle, resulting in lower power and oil consumption, as well as fewer maintenance operations.
With the state-of-the-art HD series, we can achieve excellent bending results with the support of a shape-changing lower beam that is fully numerically controlled.
HD-version 1003 ATC offers even more flexibility and higher performance – this 4-axle manipulation device makes sure that templates and matrices are accurately positioned in the tool tray, which can accommodate up to 26.4 m of tools. The versatility of the HD ATC’s seven-axle back support offers multiple support methods.
Workplace ergonomics have been considered as well: the foot pedal and the dynamic angle controller are automatically moved to the location of the tools, thereby relieving the user from such tasks.
Bending programmes are created using Dr ABE Bend CAM software.
